Phase2 Day1

Today started my strict menu days and I thought that I would have a really hard time, seeing as lunch was to be eaten at my in-laws in return for my hubby helping out with putting in new appliances. Well, it wasn't! Although all the liquid I drank today turned out to visiting the bathroom every half hour to forty five minutes. Oh good golly!



Here was my menu for the day: Breakfast consisted of cold tea. It was really good. Sweetened with Truvia. Mid morning snack was an orange. That was delish too. Then lunch I ate before we went over to my in-laws and it was one scrumptious meal too. Chicken cooked with 1 clove of garlic and tomatos with a side of celery. I am also eating a melba (sourdough) toast with each meal. So I ate the chicken and celery and then dove into the tomato/garlic mixture with the melba toast. Tasted kind of like pizza or maybe even bruschetta. Either way it was good! Dinner was cooked talpia with a quarter of a lemon chopped up along with a clove of garlic and some green beans and melba toast. I dunno, the talipa was so good I could have eaten about 4 more servings of it! I will be having a snack later on this evening while I am watching Desperate Housewives (and catching up on the movie: Who Is Clark Rockefeller that was DVR'd yesterday). The snack will be 1/2 of a grapefruit in which the other half will be eaten for my mid morning snack tomorrow. You can bet that they will be covered in Truvia!



Call me crazy, or whatever you must, but I am noticing quite a difference on my back. My mid-back, I don't notice as much extra back there as I did before. I know that the HCG is doing it's thing and can't wait to weigh in tomorrow morning. Even my hubby noticed the difference in my back. And it has only been 3 days! I am gonna bet you a dramatic drop will transpire before I weigh in tomorrow!

Phase1 Day2

Weigh in at 154.6 (down 1.2lbs from yesterday).



Day two of binging and I don't think I can eat anymore! But I must. So for breakfast I fried up some eggs and sausage and put them on english muffins, my own little sandwiches that I will probably miss because they are so danged good! Then on to a banana for a mid morning snack. A triple serving of lasagna for lunch and a huge banana smoothie for a mid afternoon snack. That made me ill.... I seriously didn't think I was going to be able to eat for the rest of my life. Wow. A couple hours later I finished off a whole row and a half of oreo cookies and milk. Omg that is a lot of food so far! I ran to wal mart and got all my food for the next couple days and was going to top off my day with a Big Mac meal and a chocolate lava cake but the smell and thought of fast food was revolting to me and I wanted to gag! No more food for me. Got home and pacakged up my food for the days to come. I weighed out all the meat and put the servings in ziplock bags, then I did the same with the veggies, measured them out and put them in bags. I then took the meals for the day and put them foods that were needed that day into gallon zip locks. I am all set! On to phase 2 tomorrow!

If you do not know what HCG is or how this diet works I highly recommend you check out the website before you make assumptions and read! The website can be found HERE, the facebook fan page can be found HERE and the yahoo group can be found HERE. No, I am not putting my body into starvation mode. No, I am not going to gain all this weight back after I am done with my plan. HCG protects your lean muscle and good fat stores (around your organs and where needed in your body to function) and attacks your bad fat stores. If you were to do a 500 calorie diet without HCG your body would attack muscle mass and your good fat stores. In which case as soon as you would go off the diet you would gain all that weight back because your body would need to make up for the period that you starved it. You would then gain back even more because your body would want more reserves incase you put it into starvation mode again. I hope that makes sense... as that is how this works and that is the best way I can describe it to you! :)



Today I started my new liquid HCG diet and I am loving it so far. The first two days you binge while on the drops and eat whatever you want whenever you want. It was fun. For breakfast I had a whole bag of pizza rolls (boy was that disgusting). Lunch was a Big Mac meal at McDonalds with a chocolate lava cake for dessert. Dinner consisted of more junk in front of the TV. Bananas, cheetos, and even a HUGE chocolate banana smoothie. Boy did I feel like crap before I went to bed. Too much food. On to day 2 tomorrow!
